ECOSOFT CONFIRMS THE EFFICIENCY OF FUELWELL
Ecosoft is a socially responsible company that focuses on the best global environmental management practices. One of the company’s main priorities for sustainable development is the reduction of carbon emissions from Vehicle fleet.
In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the technology for reducing hazardous emissions and optimizing actual fuel consumption, Ecosoft vehicles have installed FuelWell devices, models: FW-4D and FW-6D.
The pilot project involved two vehicles used daily by Ecosoft. Truck Man 8180 (engine of 4600 cm3) and minibus Ford Transit (engine of 2400 cm3).
The project lasted two months, from 11/16/2021 to 01/16/2022. The effectiveness of the technology was evaluated by comparing the actual fuel consumption before and after the installation of the FuelWell device.
The actual fuel economy is:
Man – 8.7%
Ford Transit – 12.86%
The operational characteristics of vehicles during the implementation of the project did not change. Although the report on effectiveness did not provide for determining the amount of reduction of harmful greenhouse gas emissions from car engines, Ecosoft experts noted a significant visual reduction in smoke during operation.
